All tickets purchased online will be held at the station ticket window to be picked up on the day of your trip.
There are no refunds or exchanges for our Special Event Trains.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards are accepted.
By purchasing online, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by all policies of the Wilmington & Western Railroad (see below).
POLICIES CONCERNING REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, ETC.
Handling Fee: All online ticket orders will incur a 10% non-refundable handling fee.
Obtaining Tickets: Tickets are held at the station ticket window and are to be picked up at the ticket window upon your arrival.
Cancellations and Changes: Requests for cancellations and/or changes to online orders must be received in our Business Office at least 48 hours prior to the day of your train ride. Cancellation policies are strictly enforced. Our office is not open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Departure Times: Times listed on our website are departure times. Trains depart on time. Please plan to arrive 30-minutes prior to the departure time so that you are not disappointed when you miss the train.
Open Seating: Excursion Trains and most Special Event Trains are "general admission" seating (first come, first served). You are encouraged to come early to ensure that your group can be seated together.
Assigned Seating: On certain Special Event Trains, seating is assigned. When ordering tickets, please indicate if you would like to be seated with another party.
Equipment Substitutions: The railroad reserves the right to substitute motive power and/or equipment based on operational needs.
Weather Advisory: Trains operate rain or shine. If we cancel a train, refunds will be issued for the ticket cost only. The decision to operate is based upon conditions at the railroad. If the train operates, NO refunds will be made. If a train is cancelled, that information will be posted on the homepage of our website, our Facebook page, and on our telephone answering system.
