Relax aboard our train as we take you on a 2½-hour round-trip ride along the entire length of our line to the town of Hockessin. You'll enjoy a 20-minute layover in downtown Hockessin to browse the local shops or grab a bite to eat.
This event is powered by our antique diesel locomotive on all days except May 28 and September 3, when our 1929 Doodlebug railcar will power the train.

Choose our open-air car, and you'll enjoy wide-open windows and side-facing seats for a panoramic view of the scenery. This seating option cannot be purchased online. You can upgrade to this car when picking up or purchasing tickets at the station. Due to weather or operating conditions, the open-air car may not be available on all Hockessin Flyer excursions.
