All trains operate rain or shine. The Railroad reserves the right to substitute coaches and/or motive power as operating conditions demand and to make modifications to the schedule without prior notice.
We have limited accessibility for handicapped persons. All buildings have wheelchair ramps and we have a wheelchair lift to board the train. However, train doorways are only 24-inches wide and there is not much room for wheelchair storage on the train. Also, there is no wheelchair lift available at our Mt. Cuba Picnic Grove or in Hockessin.

Take a leisurely 1½-hour round-trip train ride up the Red Clay Valley to our Mt. Cuba Picnic Grove, where you'll enjoy a ½-hour layover to have a picnic or simply admire the natural surroundings.

Relax aboard our train as we take you on a 2½-hour round-trip ride along the entire length of our line to the town of Hockessin, Delaware. You'll enjoy a 20-minute layover in Hockessin to browse the local shops or grab a bite to eat.

ARTISAN'S EXPRESS NEW FOR 2010!

Artisans and crafters will hold an outdoor fair at Greenbank Station from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Our steam train will also operate this day with 1½-hour round-trips to our Mt. Cuba Picnic Grove.

TRACK CAR WEEKEND

You'll sit just 2 feet above the tracks and travel at the speedy pace of 15 mph! A Speeder ride offers an extremely unique perspective on the Railroad and the Red Clay Valley.
